So there was a huge thunderstorm tonight. It started out real far away and then rolled right over my part of Tokyo. A bolt of lightning struck my train station’s towers and killed the Yamanote and Keihin Tohoku lines which are the two busiest train lines in Tokyo - it was a big deal. They were down for around an hour or so. It started pouring rain very suddenly as well. I was a bit surprised it didn’t start flooding.

Here’s a bad pic of the rain I took. I wanted to get a lightning pic but I was busy doing other stuff so couldn’t get the camera up on a tripod for a long exposure. Oh well.
