Long time since my last update, I had written a post about how I got a job at GABA teaching English but my web host (Albeit at my request) switched servers resulting in data loss for everything 24 hours prior. So there goes that post. Oh well. I get to try out a new shopping cart system because of the new server.

Not a lot happening today. Yesterday was really crazy for weather, it was thundering every 4 or 5 seconds for a good hour. Unfortunately it was pretty far away, but still cool.

I think I am going to take a bunch of pictures today. There is another contest going on at one of my favorite websites, one of the themes is to take the sharpest picture possible. This should be a good test for my 50mm F1.8 lens, as it’s reputed to pretty much be Nikon’s sharpest lens. I wish it were a bit wider but that’s life. I have to figure out what I should take a picture of. Flowers are way overdone. I’m thinking about going down to one of the train stations. People will think I’m a 電車オタク but oh well.

Some people are wondering what happened to Maki, she’s gone to Australia to visit for 2 months. She’s been there before for about a year so she knows what she’s doing. We’re thinking about going to Canada and the US in wintertime later this year. I think it would be fun but with GABA’s wages as high as they are, I stand to benefit a lot more by staying here for a while longer.

I have to figure out how I can get back here once my working holiday visa expires. Canada just ain’t the place for me to live.
